It's so easy to get discouraged at this time, but I want to share some encouragement I recieved today. This lady did not realize that I was sick, so I thought it very amazing that God keeps up our spirits by encouraging us through little things. Anyway...here's a little note she sent:

Well last night my parents were on the verge of taking me to the ER because of the serious swelling of my tonsils. I wanted to wait however and get some sleep. This morning around 8:00 we headed to the doctor's officer where I found out I have Strep Throat and Mono. Yay!!! So...that means I'm gonna have to take it really easy the next few weeks (which the next few weeks also include 2 weeks of fair.) It could be lots of fun!!!

Well, even though you're feeling bad, Happy Birthday! I hope you begin to feel better soon! I've had Mono before, so I know it's not fun, but my throat didn't swell up. Instead, I got a ton of cankersores (however you spell that!) in my mouth. I couldn't close my mouth or anything! It hurt so bad! I had to eat baby food, and green beans on top of it all! :( Yeah, so I feel for you! :)
I'll be praying that you make a speedy recovery!

I didn't realize it was your birthday. So sorry you were sick, but hope you're on the mend now. Happy birthday and hope you have many, many more. You have a beautiful life ahead of you and you've got such a positive, sweet attitude I know you'll have many happy ones.
